This week, we are welcoming a new addition to the MASH family – and this one’s in Germany.
MASH Hamburg is opening its doors on Saturday 5th September, and their team kicked things off with the official launch party on Thursday evening. Over 800 guests arrived to welcome the restaurant in style, and by all accounts, it was a fabulous evening that only set the tone for things to come.
The restaurant itself sits on a roomy 900 square metre site in Hamburg’s Holzhafen – the result of over two years of searching for the ideal spot. With space for 150 guests in the restaurant and a further 45 on the outside terrace, it promises to be an exciting destination for Hamburg guests and locals alike.
Just like in Copenhagen and London, MASH Hamburg will not just focus on steak and wine: they have put together a skilled and international team of bartenders to deliver what just might be the most innovative cocktail menu in Hamburg, in a visually stunning bar. Managing director Mario Ludwig, a renowned Hamburg restaurateur, noted that “the city’s bar scene is relatively small,” so this new arrival is sure to be a welcome addition and – we hope – a new hub of cocktail activity.
MASH Hamburg is the 7th MASH restaurant in the world and the first in Germany, and with number 8 due to open in October in Copenhagen, the future looks bright.
