MASH launches own rosé champagne on all restaurants

This Summer we launched our own MASH Champagne, which was very well received on all our restaurants. This is why we’ve sent our Master Sommelier Jess Kildetoft back to the French vineyards to develop the perfect rosé champagne for MASH in cooperation with winemaker André Clouet. The perfect MASH rosé blend has been 12 months underway, but now it’s finally on the wine list on all our restaurants in Denmark, Germany and England.

Based on French expertise and Grand Cru vineyards
Winemaker André Clouet is located in the small, sleepy town of Bouzy in France, which is known for their Pinot Noir grapes from the Champagne region. All André Clouet fields have earned the title of Grand Cru because of their fine history and quality, which is why the base of MASH’ very own rosé is from this region.

– After several tastings of the vineyards reserve wines we found a combination which blew us away and the new MASH rosé champagne is in all it’s simplicity made from 50% Pinot Noir from Bouzy and 50% Chardonnay from Grand Cru fields in Le Mesnil sur Oger, Côte des Blancs, explains Jess Kildetoft, Master Sommelier and Wine Director at MASH.

The Pinot Noir grape gives the wine it’s great structure, nerve and the beautiful red fruit, and the Chardonnay adds fresh acidity, bite and minerals. The wine is also based on spectacular years, which is very apparent when you try the wine.

The high percentage of Pinot Noir and the balanced dosage gives the wine a refined, juicy and generous style, which makes it excellent at both an aperitif and with food.

MASH rosé champagne is now a part of the wine list at all MASH restaurants.
